So, if it's going to be a pay to play game, how will that work for consoles? will it be another subscription on top of the XBL subscription?

It may just be the same as it is for Defiance on Xbox. Gold is the subscription you have to pay for, nothing else.

I'm thinking it will be like the FFXI method, which is that it will require a separate subscription on top of XBLgold. I like to think that Bethesda wouldn't be greedy like that, but I'm almost certain Microsoft would. Maybe PS3/4 will be different?
