I lay on the ground, watching the doctor manuver the ship. Wonder where we can go.

My eyes droop and I collapse back against the wall, fast asleep

The Doctor goes over the star-charts previously installed on the ship, looking for a cluster that they can go, but some of the places have fallen dark, tagged in the BNET as lost or worse.

Wonder how many of them have still survived the flood, after all this time.

Seeing no amiable locations, he had Sophia pick a location outside of the known UNSC space. Sophia informs him that it would take several slip-space jumps to get to the chosen location. He gives her the go ahead, and the ship jumps.

=i climb out of the pool and half-carry, half-drag Shelby off to her room. It takes me a while, but I manage to do it and get her up on the bed. I head back to the pool room and continue my swim=

Set up at the end of a hallway, and you have clear access while the undead shamble along at you.

Let me rephrase. It gives you a reserve, a backup for when they are in danger. But it definetly does not make you weaker.
