Well, you've all waited this long and here it is...the guide to your Fallout-esque RP:

The Basics: The year is 2280, and a nuclear war has left what was the United States a scarred & irradiated wasteland; where the only virtue left is to survive. After a three year period of chaos known to the population as the ‘Dark Times’, the wildlife population has soared. After coming out of the Vaults, your only objective in this newly minted wasteland is to survive, or die trying.

Factions: In the period of three years of chaos after the war known to the wastelanders as the ‘Dark Times’, people have made their own organizations to mette out their own idea of order, in order to fill in the lack of a formal government.

The Remnant: A post-war reorganization of the remnants of the U.S. armed forces branches. It claims that it is still the rightful government of what remains of the United States Wasteland. Maintains a control over what remains of the major industries of the U.S., as well as majority of electrical power that is left.

The Lawmen of the Divine: Organization who’s mission is to “maintain order and justice at any cost.” They maintain branches all across the Wasteland. It is not uncommon for them to be seen working with either the Remnant or the Northeast American Army. They are also well known for public executions such as burning at the stake, crucifixion and hangings.

Northeast American Army: A militia group based out of Pittsburgh, they were formed out of the state National Guard units from Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York. They have a reputation of being brutal and controlling in the territories that they control. They are known to use the people that they capture in those territories as slave labor to help transport their food and nonessential gear. Those who have not submitted to their demands have reported they will use torture and execution to have their demands met. This faction is also known to use laser based weaponry, and also have surplus light and heavy armor vehicles; as well as robotic units such as an unarmed Crusher and MULE; and two armed Squad Mission Support System (SMSS) UGVs.

United Slaver Collective: Established after the ‘Dark Times’, this faction has resorted to human slavery to survive in the Wasteland. They will occasionally conduct raids on N.E.A (Northeast American Army) ‘Fortress Cities’, with horrible results. There have also been reported skirmishes between them and the Lawmen, so they will move from settlement to settlement, so they can’t be targeted by the Lawmen. Warning: they are armed and very dangerous to deal with.

Weapons: Anyone who is sensible in these times is armed with any pistol, rifle, and weapon they can get their hands on. These weapons are also used by the major factions listed above, and are listed by type.
