I'll be honest, I am on the verge of signing it. But tomorrow is E3 (unless the calendar is off) and the first event is by Microsoft. So if tomorrow they release more information that just digs a deeper hole for themselves, I'll sign. If not......well, still not buying it. Probably going to be too expensive.

Well games yes, but unless there was new information then it's still only at retailers that have been authorized to but the games, with the permission of the publisher.

Exactly. I bought the game with my money, the physical disc should be mine to do with as I see fit. The intellectual property and such, is the property of the game makers and maybe the publishers, so I agree that particular bit cant and wont be sold by me and I'm fine with that.

from what i hear publishers may do it for first couple months just to deal with peeps who beat game then go back and get their money back

Well, after the conferences and the interviews with the Microsoft executives, I must say that I am really disappointed with the One. The price I can sorta deal with because hey, new console, new hardware, etc. But the constraints? Those put me as a gamer, off of buying the console.
