"Point. So, what all did ya find?"

"a whole bunch of stuff, food, tools, no guns though, there aren't any gunshops in Kinsale, may have to drive farther out to find one, I've got some things for the gun-lady, I forget her name, and some stuff for Raul, and some stuff for the elites, basically, I have stuff for people to sell and trade."

"Hey, at least she told you her name. She won't even tell me that. Oh, and uh, the Travelers are in again. They may take a few things off of ya, granted you can get by Pat."

"Pat? The fat guy?"

I nod.

"Yup. Fat, yet strong. Remember? He has the weird Russian/Irish accent?"

"yeah, couldn't figure that out. I think he doesn't mind me all that much, honestly, because I bring stuff back from the places I go, and some of the stuff I give away for free."

"I don't think he minds much of anything, other than bear hugging ya and helping you look around."

"who is the guy following us?"

I whisper back.

"I have no idea. Never told me his name."

"I think you should get in, I'll speed up and ditch him."

"what part of me sitting down can't you see?"

"what? that didn't make any sense.."

"Look down at my legs. See how I am sitting in the cart? That means I'm already riding. Which also means you can speed up whenever you feel like it."

"He's still there. Kinda. He's more of just trying to rather than actually doing so."

=sees him turn around and waves then spins his finger in a circle saying turn around=

=I had been checking the Duck boat. It didn't look so good...=

=I walk away, slightly.=

"Hey, now he wants us to turn around. Or did...can't see him anymore."

I turn back around to face the front. I eject the grenade shell from the launcher.

=Continuing down the road, hears the 'chink' of the shell hitting the pavement=

I close up the launcher, not having any spare rounds.

"So, just tell me when to turn, I haven't been out in a while."

"Turn right at the next chance you get."

I look around, keeping an eye out for any Zeds or Raiders. I can't see much in the rain, but I can see enough. Six months of living here does that to you.

=It was close to either two, of four hours, before my journey across the channel ended, and I saw land. I had to check the map on the ship to see where I was. According to the map, I was off the coast of Ventor. I had reached Great Britain=

Great, now for some tea.

=I directed the boat towards Ventor, and the Isle of Wight=

=Within a few minutes, I was at the tiny little dock of Ventor. Before I got any closer, I made sure there weren't any stenches around. Nothing. I brought the boat closer, and hopped onto the dock, the boats rope in my hand. I tied her up=

=I looked at the boats side. "Jeune fille de la mar." It was embarrassing, but I pulled out a French book I swiped from a bookstore=

Maiden of the Sea. Not bad.

=I put the book back, made sure the keys to the boat were in my pocket, and I headed for the town of Ventor. I still needed better supplies=

We start getting close to the safe zone.

"So, how much do you think you will get?"

=I walked down the dock, towards a set of buildings at the end. A few stenches were about, but they hadn't seen me yet. I didn't want to use my gun; to much noise. And my knife, while good against one, would not help against a group. However, I saw a paddle on the ground, covered in blood. Probably some poor souls last defense. I picked it up=

Okay, I can't believe I'm thinking this, but time to paddle some zombies.

=The first stench saw me, and lurched towards me. I swung the paddle at his head, and he went down in a spray of blood. Another stench came at me, and I jabbed the paddle into it's gut, and then spun the other end down onto it's head. The last one came at me, and I swiped the paddle end, flat, into his neck. I didn't quite chop of his head, but he went down all the same=

=I continued down the peer, and found myself walking towards a market place. There were cars everywhere, spread out, doors open. Blood was on the windows=

Oh yeah, this is definitely a scene out of 28 Days Later.

"Well, considering it's the people I trade with, I don't think that'll happen, unless I can convince one of the other Caravan groups to specifically look for one, or twenty, you know?"

"Yeah, I know."

We pass by the Traveler Caravan and continue on our way.

"uh, sure, where is he living? or staying? or squatting?"

=I walked into the market place. There wasn't really much; apparently, the place was already raided. Still, wouldn't hurt to look around. So, I kept moving. The place was unusually quiet; I saw no stenches. However, I did find one thing that really wet my appetite for supplies: a knife shop. Most of the windows were already broken, and some things already taken. Still, I went in. I went into the back section, where I noticed that the floor sounded a little hollow. i knelt down, and dragged my hand across the floor: there was a door in the floor. It took me a second, but I found a latch, and opened the door: a basement. I walked down, and found quite the treasure trove of gear--knives, some bigger than my own. There were a few guns, mostly some pistols and ammo. Nothing big, no rifles or shotguns=

Eh, take your victories where you can get them.

=I started to grab stuff, and back-pack it=

"Just pull up to the caravan. He'll pop up when we get there. He's kinda magic like that."
