Chapter 3-A: Calm before the Storm

I hear the comms and scream as my room has a small fire

God this is too dangerous.

I talk to Smow

Come by room and i'll explain it? I could do with some assistance anyway.

Me: Ok

=I switch the comm off and move to Jay's room=

Me: Yes?

=the files finish= I'm comin' down too. Anything that makes you scream must be bad. Files are done now, anyway.

I finish putting out the fire and turn to face him. I gesture to the room

Well as you see i'm not sure how to set any of these monitors up properly. Do you have any clue?

And i'm just going to set it up so i can keep watch on the monitors from my room. That way, someone doesnt have to always be in the control room.

=heads to the new ship in a protoype ship to ship slipsace transport shuttle and lands in the ships hangar=

Or, I could have done what I did with the Tropaheum and set up a security system with my armor. Either way, it's done. =i hand her the disk=

Cmon, I'll help. =i help set up the monitors=

(I finish and walk out of the rec room)

Man, what a workout

(sees Snow and Dormii at terminal)

(Looks curious)

(I hear Jay scream)

That can't be good

(I run to her room to find out whats wrong)

(I notice Dormii is already there)

(I raise my hands) O.k., that's going to be a problem

Well, are you going to just stand there? Or help us?

=i get zapped= Hey! Bad physics! I'm just trying to make you do something, nothing to get pissed off about.

You know i don't wear my armour often enough for that.

I wait for the monitors to be set up and then take the chip and slot it into each of the monitors in turn, moving the files around.

(Looks at the monitors) Hold on, let me take a look see here.

Me: Dormii.. I think the blue wire goes there..

=I take the blue wire and put it where I gestured=

Me: They are color coded for a reason you know

=I take the red one and put it where the red is suppose to be and I am shocked=

Me: AHHH! Oh.. my bad, that was Dark Red.

=we finally get it finished= Damn physics. Ok, got this set-up.

=to Snow and Marcus= Go get ready on the next two.

I smile at them

I push them all out of the room

(I nod) Yes, Snow. Sometimes, Jay can be a bit of a b***h. But shes a nice person overall

(I look at Snow) Jay isn't a jerk really. I honestly think she's just frustrated, and doesn't have many targets to vent on. Except us sometimes.

(I put an arm on his shoulder)(Kindly) Sometimes, all people need is space, and everyone can get along. And thats all Jay really needs.

(Snow and I reach the bridge doors)Now, lets see if we can get these doors open...

I finish up building and setting the monitors and then check them to make sure. Each one works fine. I remember something for Snow and Marcus and turn my comms on.

Hey guys i know its not much but i made you some food, it's in the canteen in a plastic container. Just warm it up and it should be all good.

(I whisper in Snow's ear) If thats the case, I totally retract my comment on Jay being a total jerk.

Me: She threw a knife in my leg and broke my wrist.. but the food does make up for it.

I remember that Dormii is still stood outside of my room and i open the door and drag him inside

=I rush to the comfy cotton chair and plop in it=

Me: Get me a beer, first mate.

I was about to say, don't I get to see this new project of yours?

I don't think it's the project your interested in seeing.

Well it's pretty obvious

I shut the door and lock it

=i turn off my comms unit, outgoing and incoming= Only if one is paying attention. =i pull her closer and kiss her, longer= If one is like me, they tend to miss some things.

I pull my comms unit off of my head and throw it away

I need to take it off eventually. Besides, the damn legs itch. Want me to put it back on for you to take off? =i raise an eyebrow=

That would be a waste of energy. Which i might need later.

I grin at him again

You may aswell get it all off. I suppose it would be very uncomfortable later.
