GIDEON WAS RECENTLY KILLED AFTER REBELLING FROM THE UEG WITH HIS COMRADES IN THE DIETY PROGRAM. THOUGH ONI HAS CLAIMED THEY WERE ANNIHILATED BY COVENANT SOLDIERS, IT IS BELIEVED THAT SPECIAL OPERATIONS UNITS WERE INVOLVED.
CONFIDENTIAL:
Name: Gideon-064 / "Odin" Age: ~50 years Race: Caucasian, Human, Male Rank: CPO / Chief Petty Officer
Role: Gideon was originally part of Green Team, a SPARTAN combat unit. His duty was generally long-ranged dealings, to take out powerful or dangerous foes safely before the squad got into combat. He was eventually noticed by ONI, who took him from the team and inducted him into the Gungnir Project, and soon his purposes changed for the betterment of top secret espionage and covert missions, where his skilled eye and amazing talents were used to ensure other specialists under ONI could infiltrate enemy bases and retrieve important data, often times being data from captured bases.
Skills: Gideon-064 is a highly experienced SPARTAN, and an ex-member of Green Team. His most practiced skill is that of long-range marksmanship; his understanding of the trajectory, weight, wind resistance, and the plethora of other important features in proper long-range combat have made him something of a legend. He was reported during the Battle of Reach to have used light weight ammunition and wind power to near double the range of a sniper rifles shot, killing an Elite Zealot from a once unimaginable distance. He has also shown great tactical skill, able to outmanoeuvre and outsmart Covenant foot soldiers with well timed formations and skilled team stealth tactics. Despite this, he often operates alone, using silence and stealth to his advantage.

Doctor Catherine Eliabeth Halsey,
This is highly fragile information that I have sent you, Halsey. If Parangosky finds out I've sent you this, I'll be demoted, fired, court martialed, and who knows what else. These are some of the files regarding SPARTAN-064, notably the information you wanted about his current status. For the love of God Catherine, keep this quiet.

<DOCUMENT 06> Civillian Notes - S-064 August 9th, 2552 I met a Spartan the other day during a Covenant attack. Well, not so much 'met' as 'was lifted out of a broken shed and told to hide', but hey, at least he was kinda polite about it. He helped a few of my neighbours out too, thankfully no one was injured during the attack. He wasn't with a squad, which was kinda weird, a lot of other Spartan teams passed by a few days earlier, some needed a spare vehicle or two. This guy was all on his lonesome, dealing death out like it was a deck of playing cards. I wonder if he was one of the lone wolf kinda soldiers. I hope so, he seemed like a pretty good kid.
August 10th, 2552 That Spartan, I saw him again, this time with a ton of other Spartans and Marines. And what's worse is that they weren't taking a neat stroll. I don't know what the hell it was, but they were being followed by this massive moving platform with a gun on it... no words can describe it. It was terrifying. I'm lucky it didn't see me, coz it was firing shots strong enough to pierce right through armour, let alone thin brick walls. They didn't escape, they ended up using my damned house as a bunker to try and get better leverage. It didn't last long, half of my house is torn down now. Doesn't matter, they took down the giant freaking robot thing with an air strike, and then got an evac, and I was forced to go with. I didn't wanna leave Reach, not in a war. But I had no choice against a man who was twice my size. And a man who was so willing to give his life for the protection of civillians.

<DOCUMENT 12> Transmission - Insurrectionist Undetermined SCS Hannibal RECEIVED (trans) 06.x.x.xxxx via x-process modified (WARNING) (process owner unknown)
The battle is over. Your SPARTANs are all dead. Two escaped, we know of this, but we know too that only one made it back to you. Perhaps you will learn next time that it is always safer to let bygones be bygones and not strike against your enemy on his own ground. The UNSC came in trying to handle both our attempts and the attempts of the Covenant to claim this planet, and what instead happened? You lost a third of your SPARTAN team to highly concentrated assaults on all sides. We will not relent, even now with this Covenant attack. We will not: [[The ring of a gun firing sounded at this point in the transmission]] What the hell was that? Get the men ready, find out what just happened. What do you mean the Sergeant is dead, he: [[A second gun shot was heard and the transmission ended soon after]]

<DOCUMENT 15> Intercepted Letter Dearest Sister,
I just received your message. I can't believe the news, I'm so sorry. I cannot even begin to think of what it must be like to lose your son, and at only six years old. Henry and I are thinking of visiting Miridem soon to meet up with you, even if it takes a few days. You aren't the only person I might say, some of my friends associates and companions have suffered similarly, I wonder if it has anything to do with that 'top secret project' going on. I can't say anything in the letter, but I'll tell you everything when we catch up. I'm still so, deeply sorry for your loss. He was such a sweet boy... I can't believe it. We're all staying strong for you and Jerry, we know it must be hard. It will all work out. It must've happened for a reason... I'll speak to you later, Aleese.

Analysis of Intel - Dr. Irridel Becker
<DOCUMENT 01> It appears that the Covenant, or at least its members, have a noted tendency to take heed when S-064 is in the vicinity. Upon further investigation, we have discovered that this emerged from an operation during the Battle of Miridem, in which S-064 managed to debilitate a Covenant Legion with suppressing fire and hit-and-run tactics, which led to half of the Elite formation being critically wounded or killed, an action that very few SPARTANs have ever managed to replicate, certainly not on their own. The fact that this is still remembered nearly five years later must be a testament to the effect it had on the Covenant, or at least the Elites.
<DOCUMENT 06> These documents were gathered from a surviving civillian of Reach who had the fortune to witness S-064 as well as ten other SPARTANs in action against an Ultra Heavy Assault Platform. These notes provide light into the strangely human emotion behind S-064s visor; unlike the other SPARTAN-IIs, he doesn't seem to be so void of emotion or bereft of social interaction - he was ordered to disregard any lifeforms other than Covenant and regroup with his team, yet he willingly took a detour to save civillians and later took them with him for evac. We aren't sure from where this stems, but it's worth looking into; it may have been a flaw in his training, or it may have something to do with his actions as a loner, even while in Green Team. We are beginning studies to look into it.
<DOCUMENT 12> What we have managed to gather from this highly coded transmission is a number of things. First, it is clear to us that Insurrections did, even if only very briefly, work alongside Covenant soldiers to deal significant loss to a SPARTAN unit, a crime that will not go unpunished. Said unit was also one S-064 was stationed in, and it is known he was the SPARTAN that did not flee. What we gathered from the transmission and later studies of the coordinates is that S-064 was able to single-handedly take out the Insurrectionist force as well as the small force of Covenant soldiers that helped take down his squad. This need for revenge is not uncommon in soldiers, but we have not experienced it very often in SPARTANs, and not in one who prides himself in operating alone. Perhaps emotion and friendship are easier to come by than we thought for our genetic supersoldiers.
<DOCUMENT 15> The information deduced from this note and notes gathered with it indicates that Aleese Végae is the mother of S-064 and that her sister was able to gather or at least assume a fair summary of information in regards to the SPARTAN-II project. S-064 was taken from Miridem at six years old, so it is safe to assume the similarity between him and the child mentioned in the letter. However, we are beginning to assume some of this info may have been unveiled to S-064 himself, specifically due to his actions on Miridem during the Covenant assault, specifically the fact that he found his way to the same location this letter was gathered from. If it is true that he has been given this information in regards to his parents and origins, then we may have at least a minor understanding of what it is that has S-064 acting so strangely connected and concerned with civillians and unimportant targets. ---
This is all I got my hands on. Hopefully you'll find it as useful as the specialists have found it, and more importantly, I hope you keep this quiet. If this gets out, Halsey, we're both ruined.

Personal Notes:
August 1, 2551 I was able to access some ONI files a while ago, and I remember seeing a lot of secret projects, stuff that they didn't want me to see, stuff that if exposed would lead to massive controversy, more so than perhaps the SPARTAN Program. I got that chance again recently, and I found something that explains a lot about what's been happening to my Spartans. It was another damned program, one of the risky and highly quiet things that I doubt anyone below Rear Admiral knows about. It's... It's something else.
<DEITY Program> <Active since 2550 <The DEITY Program is ONIs attempt at producing 35 SPARTANs of immense power and skill, survivors of suicidal missions and tragic assignments. Each SPARTAN is outfitted with either the GUNGNIR armour if they’re more combat oriented, or the Operator set if they are skilled tactically. <The Program was originally intended to be used against the Covenant before it was put into action place, but when the war ended and production finally began, it was repurposed for anti-Insurrection situations. Since then, only five SPARTANs have joined the team, but their actions have revolutionized the fight to stop the Insurrection. <The members of the team are as follows: Sierra-064 / Odin Sierra-129 / Brahman Sierra-131 / Shangdi Sierra-156 / Zeus Sierra-208 / Yahweh <DEITY Program>
The DEITY Program. They were making these supersoldier demi-gods into true Gods themselves, beings meant for nothing but fighting, and surviving! Having access to a list of the candidates is helpful too coz I've been able to study their most recent assignments and missions. Since their integration into the program, each one has begun to operate alone, and generally, against insurmountable odds. I wonder if they're trying to recreate Him in larger numbers... If so, they'll need more than just speed, strength, and smarts. They'll need what they'll never have. Luck.

Name: Rha’ Taydum Age: 56 Earthly Human Years Race: Sangheili, Male Rank: Zealot / Shipmaster
Military Data:
Motto: We shall burn those that stand against us And we shall never forget the tomb we built For we are the Sangheili
Armament: Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword Type-25 Directed Energy Rifle Type-1 Antipersonnel Grenade x2
Skills: Rha’ Taydum is an outstanding master of tactical warfare. His greatest feat still to this day is the tactical lead of the Raid on New Alexandria, an attack that was handed down to him by then Supreme Commander Thel ‘Vadam. While the attack resulted in severe damage to one of the three SDV-class heavy Corvettes, the simply intense damage done to the human army, navy, and civilian populace had it classed as a supreme victory for him, and led to a chain of events in the invested promotion from Ultra to Zealot. While a tactical master and a great military mind, Rha’ Taydum prefers to fight on the ground against his foes; his capabilities with a Type-1 Energy Weapon are those comparable to some of the best, and while he has had his share of beatings, he has yet to lose in one-on-one combat to a foe not of Sangheili blood.
Role: Rha’ Taydum is the official Ship Master of the CAS-class Battleship Forlorn Requital, a heavily armed and well equipped flagship of the Fleet of Retribution.
During the earlier stages of the Human-Covenant war he was the Ultra at command of the SDV-class heavy Corvette Prevailing Conviction, a ship that saw much action under him. His primary role was to ensure strict control over any given situation, which he was most noted for during the Battle of Draco III, where he was a prominent factor in the rapid destruction of the planet. In the battles that followed, Rha’ was not as hastily commended, but his actions in each ensured he was a constant topic to his superiors, and his reputation only continued to grow, and he was offered a place in the Fleet of Retribution for the first time, but not the last.
Two of Rha’s most noted achievements were during the Fall of Reach and the Battle of Instillation-04, during which he knew precise times to send in troops, deploy proper field tactics, each of which resulted in the loss of countless human lives and ships. In one case of the battle on Alpha Halo, he was intelligent enough to disobey direct orders and abandon the ring with the lives of his crew after the Flood outbreak. This noted survival of the conflict led to an official promotion to Zealot, a new ship, the CCS-class Battlecruiser Zealous Epistle, and reassignment to the Second Fleet of Homogenous Clarity.
After the Great Schism, Rha’ Taydum was in absolute disarray and fury at the betrayal of the Prophets, and it was said, by those that witnessed his ships attacks, that few other Shipmasters could have done as much damage with a single warship as he had done. With the Loyalist forces around High Charity depleted, Rha’ joined many other commanders in preparing a blockade of ships to prevent Flood outbreak, and was assigned to join the Fleet of Particular Justice, and aided in the containment of High Charity. Even after one ship broke through, he ensured the crew kept their cool to guarantee it was the only one.
When Rtas ‘Vadum commanded the ships under him to follow the Flood, Rha’ was forced to obey, and so partook in the slipspace jump to Earth. During the end of the Battle of Tsavo, Rha’ Taydum was barely able to lead his forces properly, due to the sight of Earth, humanities capital planet, and the actions their people went too to defend it. Despite all losses, all defeats, and now the assault on their capital, the humans continued the fight. He helped to contain the Flood for a second time in his career, this time glassing around the African continent to stop the deadly outbreak.
With Earth protected, though tragically decimated, the Fleet of Retribution along with the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn and Aegis Fate followed Truth’s Fleet through the portal and out onto The Ark. It was here that Rha’ again, and for the first time his entire crew, was able to witness the true spectacle that was the humans willingness to die for the good of others. Though they saw no combat on the ground, the conflict in the sky was something entirely different to what they were used too. The Jiralhanae were not as skilled as the humans, and after an easy and almost lossless victory, Rha’ and the other ships of the fleet were ordered to return to Earth whilst the humans and the Shadow of Intent finished off the False-Prophet of Truth.
Rha’ Taydum was personally moved by the actions of the men and women of the UNSC, and as such requested to join Thel ‘Vadams bodyguards for the Hillside Memorial, where the survivors of the war paid their tributes to those who died for the good of the human race. With the war at its end, and a new alliance rising between the Humans and the Separatists, Rha’ Taydum has become an active sympathizer for humans, personally aiding the Arbiter in his campaigns to ready a firm and proper fidelity with the Humans.
As word began to stir of a possible civil war between the Sangheili, Rha' was promptly given the CAS-class Battleship Forlorn Requital, in hopes that his aid could be called upon if it was needed.
Features Of Note:
Screenshot/appearance: Subject to Change Rha’ Taydum stands at a looming 8.2 feet, weighing in at 246 kilograms, making him one of the heaviest Sangheili in the fleets. His skin colour is a deep black, while the texture is interestingly smooth, save for the scars upon his forearms and upper back. Rha’ has an impressive figure, even for a Ship Master, with large powerful muscles and a broad authoritative stance, of which his long claws and sharp teeth only further.
While Rha’ is a highly intimidating warrior even without the use of his armour, he always prefers the use of combat gear as opposed to the more ceremonial attire of a Ship Master; as a veteran of many conflicts and a seasoned master of the Covenant army, Rha’ prefers to adorn himself in the now highly outdated Ultra Warfare Harness, which predates the modern Ultra Combat Harness by nearly five years. The suit itself has undergone many modifications, mostly due to it being the same suit Rha’ used back when he was a mere Ultra serving under his own Ship Master. The most notable changes are those of the overall size, the suit itself having been many times scaled down to appropriate the slowly diminishing lust for presence on the battlefield, as opposed to pure skill. The leg, arm, shoulder, and chest pieces were all scaled down slightly over the years so as to not make Rha’ a giant moving target, and to blend well with the now sleek and modern variants. Rha’ also inquired to a helmet change after his promotion, choosing to take the simple yet highly detailed and ornate modern variant of the Zealot headdress. The final and obvious change was that of colour, choosing to get the full set changed into the golden hue of his fellow Zealots, finally asserting the suit as that of a proud Ship Master. Similar to, if not exactly like this.

Subject: RHA’ TAYDUM – Zealot Class Species: Sangheili Threat Level: Massive Current Status: Ship Master of Forlorn Requital , Zealot under THEL ‘VADAM and the Sangheili fleets
Observations: During the Battle of Reach, RHA’ TAYDUM was cited as being a major player in the planets destruction, having led to the destruction of a significant city and countless UNSC defensive ships. He was also present as one of the ships that chased down the Halcyon-class light cruiser UNSC Pillar of Autumn when it fled to the Alpha Halo.
In the ensuing conflict, it deployed numerous soldiers to combat the UNSCs soldiers. After the unveiling of the Flood parasite and the threat levels of the infection and the Forerunner Sentinels, RHA’ TAYDUM fled from the Alpha Halo, disobeying direct orders from a superior. While the escape was marked as a disgrace by his leaders, after the Alpha Halo and countless lives were lost, he was decorated for his tactical thinking and his ability to ensure the news of the outbreak would reach High Charity.
He didn’t play as prominent a role in the conflicts that followed the destruction of the Alpha Halo. Despite a minor involvement in the Battle of Installation 05, his most standout moment was during the Great Schism where he miraculously took out numerous CPV-class Destroyers, CCS-class Battlecruisers, and even a single Supercruiser through the use of speed and shock tactics, though not without taking heavy damage to his ship. This is cited as being due to the skill and dedication of his own subordinates. It is said by many high ranking Sangheili that ‘No other Zealot could have done that much damage on his own, and against those odds’.
After the Great Schism and the ending of the war in its entirety, RHA’ TAYDUM has become a human sympathizer amongst his people. He should be kept in close contact however; he could be of use to us.

Name: Sore 'Roc' Taylor Age: 37 years Race: Caucasian, Human, Male Rank: Lieutenant
Military Data:
2 Motto N/A
Armament: M6B Handgun M7/Caseless Submachine Gun
Role: Employed and trained as a pilot for the UNSC, Soren has spent many years of his life training and trying to hone his skills for long distance travel and dog-fights. Soren is often times used in ground scenarions as a backup method of fire, sending hails of missiles and heavy machine gun fire into the enemies aircraft while he himself was guarded. He rarely spends much time concentrating on infantry, and this has more than once put him in a life or death situation. Though not as refined as he'd prefer, Soren has undergone spacial piloting procedures, and has faced combat in zero-g environments. Notably in these scenarios, Soren prefers to make use of the F-41 Exoatmospheric Multirole Strike Fighter, more often known as the F-41 Broadsword. When put at the helm of one of these fighters it's not uncommon for Soren to become far too immersed in the action, ignoring combat tactics for blood pumping thrill, though he never fails to fulfil the importance of his actions.
Skills: Soren isn't a standout pilot. He isn't the most skilled, nor the most acute, but he is possibly the most motivated. He is a determined and rigorous pilot, and is normally seen as a bit of a banner for forces he fights alongside, rallying them together to push forward against their enemies. This in no way means he is any good with his vehicles; though he can hit an enemy easily, he isn't some sort of airborn sniper, he has met his fair amount of challenges, and is often times in need of backup to achieve a victory.

PERSONNEL PROFILE #52_327_08_:
RANK: LIEUTENANT - SOREN TAYLOR | AGE: 29 | HEIGHT: 6'3" || BIRTHPLACE: TROY NOTES: BARELY PASSED PSYCH TEST. ACTIVE DURING GLASSING OF HAT YAI.
Born in 2520 to Simon and Caroline Taylor, Soren was a miracle child, having been born with low blood cell count, having survived thanks to dedicated medical work and sheer luck. From a young age, Soren was always an active and determined boy, breaking an arm when trying to impress one of his friends, Madeline, while climbing a large tree. At the age of around 12, Soren revealed his want to become a pilot of the UNSC, after witnessing a large array of ships flying over his home around New Years Day on Earth. In his adolescent years, Soren and Madeline grew very close, though neither were strong enough to admit their feelings for the other. Eventually, after spending roughly twelve years in education with each other, the two finally admitted their feelings. By 2537 however, they had to part ways when Soren fulfilled a person desire and enlisted in the UNSC in late January.
In the first four months of his training with the UNSC, Soren excelled at all tasks assigned to him. He and Madeline kept in contact constantly, and her constant connection to him helped through any of the hard times he experienced in the difficult training procedures. Despite his drive and will power, he still found it very hard to keep up with the difficult practices of a UNSC pilot. It didn't take long before he was exceeding well into the training. In May of his first year, everything changed when his home world was glassed.
The news of the Massacre of Troy almost brought Soren to ruin as his results in tests and activities plummeted, nearly failing all of them. Eventually he was confronted by one of the trainers, who said that the UNSC understands his loss, but that he and many other personell who had lost loved ones in the war to this point needed to push through to help best their enemies. Soren took this to heart and instantly hit the rebound, quickly returning to his previous marks in all tests he took part in, hoping now to fight against the same enemies that had slaughtered his loved ones. Soren was not considered a standout in his early tests, but by the time the simulations began he showed his true adaptability with the controls and systems of numerous aircraft, from the simple Pelican to the advanced Longsword. After many years of practice, he eventually finished his training, only able to pay for the overall training thanks to his parents Will, which revealed 1,000,000cr had been set aside for him in case of sudden death. By 2545, at the age of 25, Soren was promoted to Lieutenant, and given command of the D77-TC Pelican Gamma 074 afte he was officially stationed on board the UNSC Say My Name. His time with the Marathon-class Cruiser was filled with combat experience, and before long he formed close bonds with those on board the ship.
During the Battle of Earth, Soren helped transport large amounts of ammunition and cargo to UNSC bases, and after the glassing of Africa he helped relocate many needy and injured participants of the conflict. With the ending of the war, Soren has started to more actively seek combat opportunities, and is currently hoping for a chance to pilot a fighter.

Role: A strong and able citizen, Farass personally specialises in medium range combat, the use of the MA5B rifle one of his personal favourite tactics. Though he has also come to love his Enforcer, he's found its uses minimal against Covenant forces, especially against shielded opponents, and so is often reserved for close quarters combat against Innies, to put better use to both of his weapons.
Skills: As a soldier of the Colonies, Farass has a personal taste for medium range combat, and has become particularly skilled at incapacitating enemies - legs and arms are normally crippled with ease if he has the ability to hit them, rendering the enemy either a soon-to-be prisoner, or a sitting duck for other units. In a similar way, Farass is known as being a shock unit, his rifle and shotgun capable of holding the line or pushing it if the moments require them. Though uncommon, Farass has been known to hold up in close quarters too, especially in armed combat; he has been seen dealing with numerous Innies in hand-to-hand combat with only bruises and scars.
