I was searching through some of it and found your shotgun! I also found a pair of pistols, they had your original squad emblem. So I figured that since your squad is, unfortunately dead you might want them.

=Four hours of sleep later, and I had taken a shower, put on some fresh clothes, and took the teleporter to the Council Tower. I couldn't help but notice, that security looked a little increased, no doubt in response to the army now taking residence on a surface island. When I walked into the meeting chambers, I saw that the Council was already assembled=

Good morning Shepard. I hope you are aware of why we are here?

(Jason)
We're here to discuss the XNNO soldiers on the surface island?

(Nagasae)
Yes. Now, you allowed an enemy ship to deploy it's forces onto an island on the surface. We are of course aware of the security measures you placed around the island. But that is not the issue.

(Grimm)
The issue is that you allowed them to land in the first place. They are forces, of a known, hostile nation. We already have reports saying that Delta believes we worked with the UNSC to attack him.

(Alvin)
And while we're on the subject of Delta, do you mind explaining why you revived him? He was the one, that lead a fleet to destroy our homes, and enslaved and murdered our people.

Tar:

I've always thought of meeting a special someone, maybe i should stopping thinking about it and just find that person... I've done nothing good with myself... it's time i did!

I believe I made the reason for reviving Delta perfectly clear: There was already tension between our two peoples, and I felt that reviving their leader would help ease those tensions. And as for letting the XNNO soldiers land on the surface, I made sure they would be closely watched. Besides, the one that dropped them off is an old friend, and he needed to go back and see if he could rescue any XNNO civilians.

=I took a deep breath=
Look, I understand that I am again overstepping my bounds here. But frankly, these were decisions that had to be made, fast.

=He opens his mouth to speak, but is quickly cut off=

Lynn: I am still angry at you. Fuck. More than angry. I'm still going to stay in Grace's room. I want us to have some time apart.

=She sighs=

You think we are incapable of making speedy decisions?

I think you are incapable of making rational decisions when they concern Delta.

I curl myself up and debate whether to go see him again or not. Eventually desire wins out over logical thought and I leave to search for him

Tar:

=Well that shut them up. They all had a look on their face, somewhere between shock, and rage=
Look, let's face it: there's too much bad blood between our people, and Delta's. Maybe I assume too much, but that makes me believe that any decision involving Delta, or the XNNO's, will be met with hostility.

=It was just her luck that Grace's room was a fair distant from where her former room was. She is plain angry, that much is clear from her expression and the speed she is walking=

=She sighs and knocks on Grace's door when she arrives. The door opens and she is greeted with a hug=

Grace: Listen. I am so sorry..

=Lynn drops the case and returns the hug=

=Grace pulls her into her room and takes the suitcase out from the hallway=

That's too far Jason! Granted, you've made valid points, but if we really were that hostile to the XNNO's, we would have voted to attack them a long time ago.

True, but the fact remains, that I feel that any decision involving the XNNO's runs the risk of being compromised by vendettas.

=He takes his journal from his pocket and takes the pencil from the binding=

This is getting us nowhere. Now, we are willing to accept the XNNO soldiers being on the surface; we have more than enough firepower to deal with them, should the need arise. But....you did make this decision, without consulting us. You made this Council to make decisions for Haven, yet you still continue to make them on your own.

(Jason)
