The Rise RP: Mission Three

=Aboard the Athena's Province, 16 hours after returning. Everyone is onboard the ship. =

Paarthurnax awoke in a flush, he started coughing as he opened his eyes. He looked around and saw that he was in some sort of Laboratory, surrounded by humans in gowns and masks, to his sides were his fellow warriors. He looked down to where the knife had been before and it was removed and stitches were in its place, bandages lay on his legs.

"Where am I human?"

"You are currently aboard Athena's Province, aboard the Medical Bay. Your armour is to the left of your bed, report to Commander Aegir immediately, your soldiers will be ready soon."

Paarthurnax nodded he slowly got up and started placing his armour back onto his body.

=I wake up in the med bay=

Awwwww man...I feel like shit

=My memory catches up to me=

Now I remember...I was made half-blind by an explosion

=I get one of the medics=

Where am I now?

Medic: You're in the medbay, sir. You were knocked out and more beat up than a boxer.

=I flex my unarmored hands=

Don't remind me. So, am I cleared to fight doc?

=The medic checks his list=

Medic: You're cleared to fight, but be a bit more careful. Your breifings in 30 minutes.

Thanks doc.

=I get into my dress fatuges and head into the breifing room=

Medic: Hold on there cowboy. You're to stay here for treatment, doctors orders.

Yes, doc.

=I then sit back down and try to relax=

(As my new and permanent character Fenrir..In case anyone was confused.)

=In one of the many bars of Athena Province overlooking to the dark void of space with a file of his new assignment and current team members=

This should be fun.

-Takes a sip of his whiskey and continues reading the files-

=For a Spartan that last mission was tough, I was tired and sore.=
=I took off my armor and got ready for a shower, When I realized I forgotten about my injuries.=
=The grenade shards hurt like mad inside of me, perfect time for a visit.=
=I enter the medbay, talk with a couple of doctors and they prepare me for surgery.=

I'd spent some time getting used to the ship, most of it spent messing around with things in the tech lab, keeping to myself. I had to go and find my new Squad leader... Aegir, was his name, I think. I didn't spend much time reading the report, or the files. I had other things to mess around with, like this system! It could be running .21% faster!

=Aegir awoke foggily from his sleep in the medbay, he had taken more shots than he realized. his armor had been penetrated, and he had had metal shrapnel pulled out of him=

=i made my way around the Athena's Province. By some sheer miracle, I wasn't hurt any worse than a few bumps from the shockwave of the APC going up in shrapnel. Any shots I took were stopped by the shields, or even my armor, as nothing penetrated. I was probably the least wounded person out of the whole operation=

=is playing poker with the command staff and winning=

=My eyes hurt I rub them and sit up.=
=I just got out of surgery, apparently It didn't take long.=
"Doctor, what happened?"

*Doctor*
"Well...You didn't have permanent damage and getting that shrapnel out of you wasn't hard at all."
=I grab his clipboard.=
"Everything is ok, you'll just have temporary pain. Here have some pain medication."
=Picks up meds and hands it to him.=
"You're free to go.

"Thanks doc, you're a life saver."
=I grab the pills then go to my room.=

I took that last sip of my whiskey and set the glass down. I looked at my file for a second longer and closed it.

Thanks for the drink.

I nod at the bartender and tip him.

Time to visit and ghost from my past.

I got up from the seat and picked up the file. I took a left when I exited the bar and headed to the med bay. I arrived at the medbay and was greeted by the head nurse. I told her who I was looking for and she showed me the way. I walked up the bed of a familiar person.

Hey Nicholas.

I toss a flask of whiskey at him.

Or do you go by Aegir now.

=i decided to check up on Aegir, I heard he was due to wake up soon. I headed towards the medbay, thinking about what happened on the mission=

I grab a nearby chair and sit on it.

=i walk into the Medbay to see Aegir sitting with Mark. I walk over, as silently as one can, behind Mark=

=I look to see Aegir talk it up with a newcomer=

=I groan and walk over as I try to shake off my concussion=

Ragtag isn't what I'd term it.

I look at the guy who just entered.

I meant what I said.

I turn to a similar face as old as Aegir's

I look back at Aegir as he hand me the flask. I take a sip from it.

I hadn't had any luck finding Aegir, or well, the expected places were he would most likely be had failed me, so I had one logical option left. The Med Bay, and hey, it worked. Or atleast I thought they were Aegir and... Others?

"Um.. Hello?"

Paarthurnax walks over to their Commander.

"Would you like me to report the information acquired, or shall that wait until debriefing?"

He stood up, with his armour on, clad in black and purple, staring at the Commander.

Paarthurnax took a step back as he stared at the new arrival that nervously approached. He then took his eyes off of the human and looked around, he noticed F'alas and Torix and Quna being operated on, then the Zealot and then humans running around S bi, attempting to restart his hearts. It had been too long and he had too severe wounds, there was still hope however.
He saw his warriors show sign of movement, he remained where he was until they were ready to put their armour on. Waiting and thinking...

I noticed the Elite. I'd read the reports but...

Great.

Elites.

"Was it up to scratch sir?" I asked Aegir, curious as to what he thought.

He watched as his Special Operations got up and mounted their armour onto their bodies, except the Zealot and S bi, who they had managed to bring around, they were putting him on life support and trying to patch up his wounds.
Torix hobbled on over.

"Officer, it is good to see you again."

"Yes, likewise friend."

"What is the situation?"

"Everyone who was injured are being treated, those who were severely injured, near death, are on life support."

"Yes, it is good to be alive."

"Agreed, I want you to assemble everyone, make sure they are prepared."

"Yes Officer."

Torix walked off and Paarthurnax turned to the Commander and walked over to him, seeing the new arrival and him speaking.
