=Vatel wakes up after a long night of sleep. He wakes up Cort and Greave, and heads to the messhall to retrieve a cup of tea. He walks out of the small compound, and into the morning sunlight. It was a welcomed sight after the last week of thunderstorms. He didnt mind Chi-Ceti IV, but he also didnt want to stay for any longer than was needed for the UNSC forces to arrive and set up their new base. He and his squad were assigned to scout ahead of the UNSC and weed out any hostile forces before they arrived to establish their new base there. They didnt find anyone, but Vatel was less interested in what they were supposed to find, and more so in what they did find. In one of the buildings was writing and drawings, presumably left by the previous inhabitants. They found a few other things as well, but that was what intrigued him the most. He took another sip of tea, and looked up to the clear morning sky, awaiting the UNSC=
