=Another day had passed since the Council meeting. It would be at least another month before construction of ships began, and for now engineers and scientists were working on designs for ships, while at the same time examining pieces of Forerunner shields, engines, and even weapons. Already, a few designs had come through, and many were agreed on how the ships would look. At the same time, many felt that they should try other weapon types, like kinetic based weapons. More designs came in for rail gun based turrets, though they would have to be made of materials that would not overheat due to rapid firing. Silver helped solve that problem, and provided the engineers access to a metal on Haven that was more durable than Titanium, and just as light. The turrets were going to be in several variants: larger versions, the size of Pelicans, would serve as ship to ship weapons, while smaller versions, the size of cars, would serve as point defense against fighters (smaller turrets would be mounted on fighters.)

I sit down and wait for an officer to bring me news of my own identity.

"So Matt, how's being a Dragon?"

I smile jokingly. looking the Dragon up and down.
