=For the first time, it was not Silver Light, but the humans at Alpha Base, the detected a mass in slip-space on the long range sensors. They alerted the fleet, which mobilized, though slowly. The ships that were still over the island traded places with smaller frigates, while troops and fighter pilots scrambled to get to their stations. 20 minutes later, the human ships joined the Forerunner ships in orbit above Haven. Alpha Base sent a message to Jason, informing him of what was happening=

=I was sitting in the crew deck, doing nothing, when a message from Alpha Base came in. A slip-space disturbance was detected, and it was massive, and heading for Haven. The fleet was already mobilized, and waiting for me. I got my armor on, and took a teleporter all the way to Alpha Base, and then a transport to the Silver Hawk. This was all becoming very routine=

He looked at the Havem fleet assembled before them, his eyes darting back and forth acorss the giant viewscreen that made up the front 180 degrees of the Bridge wall. He turned to the Shipmaster=
